Guest designer at Creative Scrappers!

YIHAAAAA! I am back!

Spring days are here and I am enjoying my days with the boys outside and with Summer coming up I am spending nights in the gym and doing school work.. well I just really didn't had the energy and inspiration to scrap.. but I think I found my mojo back!!

I am a guest designer over at creative scrappers! I am SO honored and excited to be a guest designer. Thank you so much for having me over girls!!

This is the sketch we had to work with:

And this is the layout I created:

(sorry for the very bad photo)

I used the new Country Estate papers from Websters pages and actually did a cut out! whoohoo! LOL I just really am not good at cutting things out of paper.. give me some ready to go embellishments and I am good, but cutting out.. well not my thing I guess!

I absolutely loved working with the sketch and the CS design team did some amazing work as always!

Thanks for taking a peek!!

Again, thank you SO much Kristine for having me!!

Sometimes I wish it was yesterday..

This week I decided to combine this beautiful color scheme from Color Combos Galore

with this cool sketch from Creative Scrappers

I absolutely love the colors and the little chocolates totally inspired me!! They also totally made me eat way too much chocolate.. LOL

This is the end result:

The lines are a little off. but it really is straight IRL! The spring market line from Websters pages is SO beautiful! I love the flower cards paper and will use it a lot in the future for sure! Also the netting makes perfect backdrops for rolled felt flowers.

TFL!
Happy creating..

Creative Scrappers #141

I just recently discovered Creative Scrappers and I love the site already! I LOVE challenge sites and I love the sketches at CS. They sure seem to challenge me to create even more then I already did..

so I had to play along this week with sketch 141 which is this one:

I love the design here and it helped me a lot to scrap a photo I had in my stash waiting for some inspiration..

Here is the layout I made:

I really didn't know how to scrap this photo.. it is me doing my homework since I just started school again.. In the end I am happy with how this layout turned out!
I used Elementary from Studio Calico, School days from Crate Paper, circa 1934 by Cosmo Cricket, time rub-ons from 7Gypsies, twine from JilliBean Soup and Prima flowers.

Go and create along with the CS scrappers! It's a great bunch of people.

TFL!
